Join us throughout the year as we bring our community together to support life. Below are some of the events and initiatives that The Life Center of Santa Ana participates in annually.
Mother’s Day Roses Event
Each Mother’s Day weekend, parishes across the Diocese of Orange distribute roses at all Masses as a beautiful way to honor our Blessed Mother, celebrate all mothers in our parish communities, and raise funds for the vulnerable teen and young adult mothers we serve. Parishes sign up in advance, pick up roses from our center that Saturday, and distribute them at Sunday Masses. Donations collected during the event go directly toward our life-saving services. It is wonderful to get your Knights of Columbus, Respect Life Ministry, or Confirmation teens involved. Contact us to sign your parish up.
Respect Life Month (October)
Each October, the Life, Justice & Peace Division of the Diocese of Orange invites parishes to host a second collection for Walking With Moms (formerly Pennies From Heaven). This collection is typically held during Respect Life Weekend, the first weekend in October. These funds are distributed among cooperating pregnancy centers in the diocese, including The Life Center of Santa Ana. Thank you for your generous support for life.
Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats
For women and men struggling with the emotional and spiritual effects of abortion, Rachel’s Vineyard offers weekend healing retreats throughout Southern California. These retreats provide a safe, confidential, and compassionate environment to experience the mercy of God and begin the journey toward healing.
